Directions (Map)
From the South or North A19
- Take exit A1231 to Sunderland (signposted Stadium of Light)
- Continue on A1231 for approximately 2 miles (river on your right)
- Pass over 4 roundabouts
- At 1st set of traffic lights go straight on taking the lane marked Roker
- Travel through next set of traffic lights (left hand lane)
- Follow road to next traffic lights (Stadium of Light on your right)
- Turn sharp left and follow this road taking 1st turn on the right
- The Swan Street Centre is at the top of this road
From the South or North A1(M)
- Leave the A1(M) at junction 62 (signposted Durham/Sunderland)
- Follow the signs A690 to Sunderland
- Continue for approximately 10 miles on the A690 until you come to a roundabout signposted A19
- Turn left onto the A19
- Take 2nd exit (A1231)
- Follow the directions as above
