LOMAX TRAINING OPENS NEW NICEIC ELECTRICAL CENTRE
Lomax Training Services are pleased to announce the opening of its new purpose built NICEIC electrical centre in Sunderland which will be delivering the Electrical Part P Full scope training and assessments programme. The centre will complement the BPEC electrical defined scope Part P centre which has been delivering courses since August 2005 in line with the Government's new regulations.
The new regulations have been introduced through the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure the highest standards of safety from people who work in the electrical industry.
The Part P full scope Electrical Scheme has been approved by NICEIC Certification and courses run each week as required.
The course programme is made up of a mixture of theory and practical training over four days followed by one day of theory assessments. During the training candidates will be shown how to carry out the required electrical inspection, testing and recording on purpose built training rigs by the Lomax team of experienced electrical trainers & assessors.
Candidates who successfully complete the course will be able to apply to one of 10 certification bodies who run the Part P Self Certification Scheme.
Other courses on offer are 16th Edition IEE regulations, Portable Appliance Testing and Testing & inspection.
