Jim's New Year Message - Posted 1st January 2006.

"We have enjoyed another successful year at Lomax thanks to the constant support of our staff, partners and clients, who have helped us break all previous year's records.

It's also been successful in terms of recognition for what our team has achieved - being named the North East Small Business of the Year was a highlight to go down in our history. More of that elsewhere in the newsletter.

So thank you to everyone - especially our clients and our franchise partners at Tyne Metropolitan and East Durham & Houghall Colleges - who have supported us through the year and helped get us to where we are today.

The development of the business continues apace - we are working hard to strengthen ever further our core business in the gas sector whilst offering more and more courses every month in the electrical, cable and water sectors, many of them based at our newest training centre at Howdon on Tyneside.

Add to that the specialist courses to deal with everything from Legionella and Energy Efficiency to customer service and management training under the auspices of the Institute of Leadership and Management and you can see a little of the journey we've travelled.

With good classroom/studio facilities we are also keen to develop new ideas - one is presentation and media skills training which we expect to offer in 2006.

So its all go for the New Year and everyone at Lomax joins me in wishing all our clients, partners and readers a wonderful Christmas and a happy and successful New Year. We look forward to working with you in the future.
